A vet mostly sees a dog or a cat on its worst days, so it is worth remembering what the rest of the week looks like: a frisbee in the garden, a nap on the quilt, a walk down a snowy farm path in Johnson County in the middle of winter. This is the part of the job that does not happen at 252 Scott Ct.
